Over Here, Over There brings new thinking to relationships across the world to help solve problems, large and small, through engaging conversation with leading professionals and commentators. We discuss what we can learn and adapt from over there to help improve things over here. We do this freely, but it’s a big world and we could use your support.
For just a few dollars, pounds or euros per month, you can become an OHOT member via the Patreon platform. The support we receive will go back into the production of OHOT so we can extend our services and widen our audience.
As a Patron, you receive some nifty benefits depending on the level you participate, including early access to podcast recordings, branded merchandise, joining us as a guest contributor on a podcast episode and more. You can also select your preferred currency when you sign up.

What is Patreon?
Patreon is a membership platform that makes it easy for OHOT to handle your payments and deliver your benefits to you. It has been operating since 2013 and has over 200k+ members, supported by more than 6 million+ patrons who helped creators earn over $2 billion. But it’s more than a platform. It’s fast becoming a global community that facilitates long lasting relationships of appreciation for both the giver and receiver. Here is video explaining further what Patreon is.
When will I receive my benefits?
After signing up on the OHOT Patreon page, we will send you a welcome email containing all the information on how to access your membership perks. We’ll also send out an email whenever new benefits become available. Apart from these email notifications, you can find links to all of your perks on our Patreon page.
Please note: merchandise** like mugs and clothing will be delivered after three months of continual membership; for podcast recordings, six months is required. Benefits associated with annual memberships have no time constraints.
When do I make payment?
When you sign up, you’ll be able to choose between a monthly and an annual membership.
If you select annual, you’ll receive a 15% discount and can enjoy benefits straight away, as mentioned.
If you select monthly, you’ll be charged once for the current month. Going forward, you’ll be charged at the beginning of each month.
Depending on where you live, Patreon will add applicable VAT or sales tax to your pledge when you check out.
Is it possible to cancel any time?
Yes, you can easily cancel your pledge at any time and won’t be charged after that point. Note that we cannot cancel your membership for you. Instead, just log into your Patreon account and follow these steps if you’d like to cancel your membership.

Do you meet offline with your supporters?
When the pandemic subsides and it’s safe to meet out, Claudia and I would look into holding get togethers with OHOT supporters, for sure!
